Earlier this month, Drake released his new single, "What Did I Miss?" The song quickly made headlines because it references his intense battle with Kendrick Lamar. The Toronto rapper calls out those who didn't support him during the battle and makes it clear he hasn't forgotten. "Last time I looked to my right, you n****s was standing beside me," he rhymes. "How can some people I love hang around p****es who try me?” Almost immediately, the track topped both Spotify and Apple Music charts. It was also reported last week that it was on track for a strong debut on the Billboard Hot 100. That is now confirmed, as according to Chart Data on X, it debuted at No. 2. "What Did I Miss?" is set to appear on Drake's upcoming album ICEMAN. As of now, it doesn’t have an official release date. He previewed various unreleased songs from the project during a livestream a few weeks back, making fans eager to hear what's next.

While the song has achieved commercial success, it has received mixed reactions from Drake's peers. Some, like Travis Scott, praise it, while others, such as Charlamagne Tha God, criticize it. Recently on The Breakfast Club, the host criticized Drake for the guns in the music video, calling it 'incredibly corny.' He questioned, 'Why is he in a video surrounded by guns? What's the point?" Pusha T also shared his thoughts, saying during a Complex interview last week that it's not on his playlist and 'just not for me.'
