Metro Boomin announced on Tuesday (July 15) that his new mixtape, A Futuristic Summa, will be released next Tuesday, July 22. The hip-hop super-producer also revealed the old-school cover art for A Futuristic Summa, hosted by DJ Spinz. Metro released the first single, “Slide,” with Roscoe Dash, on the Fourth of July. According to Metro’s official website, the 20-track project will feature 20 collaborators, in addition to Dash, Quavo, and J Money. Metro teased a snippet of a track, presumably titled “Extra Bow Bow,” with both Atlanta rappers earlier this week. Although he told a fan on X that A Futuristic Summa will highlight an “all new cast” of contributors, he’s worked with Quavo before over the years, from Migos’ 2016 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “Bad and Boujee,” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, to “Rap Saved Me” from Metro, Offset, and 21 Savage’s 2017 joint album Without Warning. Metro also produced J Money’s “Sauce God” in 2015.
